Has anyone had any experience with the 42 ton, 18 hp log splitter with a 6 inch cylinder, log lift and adjustable wedge from Northern.
mmmm you could just split em with the saw. thats the fun way to do it and it wont cost you any more money. its win win
I hear ya on the dial-up... I had dial up for years.. I cant get DSL 2500 ' too far from central office.... cable stops a mile down road... I ended up with satellite broad band.. beats the :censored: out of dial upYeah, priorities bite. I started building the mother of all splitters several years ago. It's a good thing that I've got a welder and torches. Some things worked good and others didn't, kept bending and breaking things, weld some more support here, bend that back, oops, need to weld that back on. I finally got fed up and thought that I might just buy one, particularly after they way that steel prices have gone up in the last couple of years and our only scrap yard that would sell stuff closed down. My current splitter is built on a piece of 12" W beam. I have bowed it up lengthwise and bent the flanges up at almost a 90 degree angle. Spent all morning with a big rosebud and a sledge hammer to fix that one, then welded 3/4" plate to the top flange. Pictures are almost out of the question, we are limited to dial up out here in the woods.
We have cable at the end of our driveway, 1/4 mile away, too far to run it to the house, doesn't matter, they're still analog and don't offer internet. I still think satellite is too high just for internet access.
