I've got a homemade wood splitter which is real slow 25 sec. cycle time. I should be happy/content with what I have...but. I cut and split about 30 cord hardwood a year. I think I've watched the SUPERSPLITTER video too many times...Way too much money for me but one can dream. In NH there aren't many used splitters for sale. Used to see them for sale on the side of the road all the time. I've never seen or read about a used supersplit for sale. I've seen a couple of TW5's in the want ad weekly but they were $1600-1800
If anyone knows of a used splitter for sale in NH or even NewEngland let me know.
Thanks:greenchainsaw:

Used splitter

Well, this one below isn't exactly fast, but should improve you a little. Research on this site and others about the quality of the HF units, but it might be worth a try at this price. You can tinker with pumps/engines and see what you can do to increase cycle time also.

Keep an eye on craigslist. I have seen a few in the $600 to $1000 range recently, but you have to act fast to get them. Good luck!
