Looking to trade a clutch cover for an 028 (024,026,034,036 etc..) for one to fit an 046 (044, ms, etc..) Need a cover with the extra hole for side chain adjuster. Cover I have is older, tiny crack in the bottom near "Made in West Germany" but freshly painted. Can Email pics, PM me if interested please, Brian

You can just drill the adjuster hole... The older style fits but doesn't clear chips quite as well, and the rear chain bumper is whimpy.

It's hard to be in the reverse situation as the newer model cover fits ALL the older models! Maybe if someone is doing a "restoration" on an 028 and wants the original part...
