Home page has a pic of a chainsaw gathering in Germany if that helps. originaly was posted on here but couldn't find it by search. Could one of you repost that link? thanks in advance.

Oh yes, I remember graveyard shift. I actually preferred it over 2nd shift, kept me out of trouble, sort of.

I work all 3 shifts. I week of days, 1 week of afternoons, And 1 week of midnights. I like after midnight's because i get 4 days off. Lots of time for trouble...Bob

Or, more likely, still sleeping AT work... :)

You should try working 12 hour shifts. Works out so that over a 2-week period I work 7 days and have 7 days off, work no more than 3 days in a row, and have every other weekend off.

SHHHHH!!!!
I worked 12 hours a day 60 days straight, beg for a day off. And worked all the holidays for 8 years. When i was a Millright. Then i got recruited for this job. Twice the money and 19 weeks off a year...Bob

I'm a rotating shift worker too

All the shifts have pluses and minuses, sleeping at work would be a plus for sure if you were so lucky, working nights lets you enjoy the part of the day that you want to enjoy the most but you don't get to sleep the night through with the little woman. Working evenings you still get to sleep beside your better half for most of the night and have all day to do stuff but no dinner with the family. Days you get a glimpse of the normal life. I have to do 8 hour shifts but i've heard about the 7 on 7 off 12hours, that sounds pretty good to me.
