We don't have any Husky dealers in West Texas, but the Lowe's store in Midland is carrying a serious selection of Husky products. Of course there is no support, etc, but they are there and the prices are attractive.

The Lowes here in Ct. has them and I remember the 359 being about $60 more than the average internet price. Since there is no dealer support either way I would just order on line.

I can get a Oregon 20" chain at the hardware store, where I got my Husky 55, for $17 and it is $25 at Lowes. ??????

Lowe's prices in PA are not competitive at all. About $80 more than online dealers.
was that the new lowes in matamoras?

ps...sent u an email a while back, wondering if u got it.

I'll make the drive to Commercial Cutters if I decide on a new saw. Their prices are better than Lowes & I can get support if I need it.

Hi hornet22,

If you didn`t have even one dealer to purchase from, you did the best you could.

HI hornett22,
I am somewhat surpised to hear those comments. I live in Colchester and there are several dealers within 30-45 minutes of you. Did you try Marvin here in Colchester or Cofiell's in Glastonbury? I have bought saws from both of them and they treated me well. Cofiell's even took a substantial amount off the retail price when I quoted internet pricing. They couldn't match it exactly but it was close. In a situation with minimal price difference I prefer to support the dealer.
At least if you need parts you know they are there.

Screw Lowes if you are not going to buy it from a dealer just buy it online line. I am not all that much up on Husky prices but baileys has a christmas sale and a great deal on 372s. I think $530. My stealership wants $700 for a used 046, nice but still used. But then again they tried to sell me a 3/8ths sprocket when I asked for 404 in a very understanding way. Sold me a 24 inch chain that he cut for a 20" bar he had just sold me. He just cut it put in in a box for me. I figured it was right and did not question it got home realized It was way too big. And sold me the wrong gas cap for my bg75 stihl blower.

WOW Justin! It sounds like you have the worst kind of Stihl dealer near you.

asb151,actually cofiells is right behind the house.first couple times i went in there they seemed like they didn't want to help me.been better lately for parts but they lost out on the sale of a saw.i sent my buddy there to buy a 350 and he had nothing but problems with it.they fixed it twice and the third time he said BS.they gave him credit towards a 359 minus 10% usage fee.i kind of think that was fair for the amount he used it but then again he wasn't reimbursed for his inconvenience of driving back there from ashford when the saw quit in the middle of a job.all around they are ok and i will continue to shop there.never heard of marvin's.is that the rental place off exit 18 or 19?i like butler's in west hartford.i go there when i can.
