Hey all,

So I bought a MS 441 C-Magnum 2nd hand... It was running amazingly until recently.

After pulling the air filter, it was obvious that crap was getting around it... (wasn't seated/sealed quite right, I'm not sure) I wanted to pull the carb, clean it up, maybe put a carb kit on it, and put it back in...

I don't have much experience with 2 cycle carbs, but I can usually figure one out.... This new m-tronic carb is a little trickier than others ive pulled apart... Ive basically hit a wall. I cant get the carb free from the power head.

I'm a little more cautious with this new carb system, so I'm taking it slow as not to rush in and regret something... So I've searched all over for videos or knowledge on how to remove or rebuild these m-tronic carbs and I cant find much info.... Not even in the AS forums.

Ive taken some pics of where I stand... What I've taken off and what Im looking at....

I know that at some point I will have to take it into a shop to have the carb re-adjusted or something.. But I would at least like to be comfortable enough with the saw to replace some carb gaskets and clean it up?!!??

(I know I still have to disconnect the fuel lines and the sensor wire... But it feels like theres something still attached in the back)

You should post this in the chainsaw forum. I'm sure you will get more responses there. It's down the list under the equipment subheading.
