I have a super 44 a for sale 100 or best offer plus 20 for shiping in the us this saw has one bad bolt hole on the exhaust

That appears to be a Supper 44 with a 44a filter cover. The 44a was the gear drive version of the Super 44 models, if I remember correctly. Do you have a picture from the side?

That does not hange the fact that is one cool saw. I recently restored one I found at the junkyard.

Are you sure about this? I agree that it looks to be gear drive because the bar mount appears to be shifted more to the left, but I just attributed that to the right-hand recoil.

Gear drives aren't really my cup of tea, but I used to say that about Homelites and Macs.

It appears that I was completely off on this one. The difference between the two is about 7cc and a few other very slight differences on the body parts. I want apologize very sincerely for that.
