Madsens boots

Looking for a comparison between the Madsens Lug sole boot and Bailey's Canada west work boot. looking for a good work boot for in the woods, don't really need Calk boots yet. Any idea who makes the Madsen's boot?

How are the Calk boots for use in mud? I mainly need them for some timber work in NC/North Georgia mountains.

I'm placing an order for a pair of Nicks HotShots, but I need a pair of boots now on short notice. If there pretty close in construction I would prefer to give my business to Madsen's.

Call Madsens and ask. I think they're Hoffmans now.

I am almost certain that they're Hoffmans, which are an excellent boot for the money. Madsen's do sell Nicks, as well, by the by.

Just in case anyone is curious, I called Madsen's, there in house lug sole boots are currently made by Whites and run about a half to a full size larger. So if you wear a size 9 shoe order an 8 1/2 or 8. Ordered a pair today.
