Does anyone have a clue as too why magnolia tree leaves are turning yellow and also have black spots on them.
 
which trees are being affected???? new or old growth????
can you post a picture, that would help!!!!! a little more
info would help as well such as location, age, sun ect......

On any leaf, black spotting is usualy a fungal problem, the yellow can be associated with declien of the leafe from the infection or it could be from a primary stress, such as mineral deficiancy, that made the plant susceptable to the fungus.

I have an aquaintance who states that low N seaweed treatments are doing as well with apple scab as industrial fungicides. (he is using a different product then I have used).
