Hi

I'm climbing using a blakes hitch on a split tale. I'm wondering about putting pullys into my climbing system to make it a bit less demanding physicaly. What kind of things am i looking at? Acenders/decenders micro pully rope shunt?

Thanks

Andy

deffinatly use a micro pulley on your laynerd with say a ditsel knot or what ever knot you use ... also might want to check into mechanical ascenders....buy a big shot if you dont already have one for helping with the throw line ....oh yeah do 500 pull ups every day for 3 years

Seriously, use a friction saver in the system. The friction over limbs is more that your arms have to overcome. The newer style friction savers that incorporate a small pully really reduce friction. A foot ascender (pantin) will also help move vertically withe the rope system you describe, by allowing your leg to help pull down on the rope, when the conditions are right.
