No sign of a manual downloadable and I'm in a time crunch. Horses arriving next weekend and I've got a bunch of clearing to do. No time to wait on a mai lorder manual. I have this funky Craftsman (a relabeled Poulan it seems) 358.355162. Was running OK for a few tankfuls. Now it stalls out like running out of gas at full throttle. If I don't expect full power from it the saw keeps running, along, but it really slows me down. I suspect it's some screw settings. I have some crude parts photos from the Sears site. If someone can give me the process for setting the screws I would greatly appreciate it. (Rant about not the first time I've had a hard time finding manuals online for small power equipment.) Even better, someone scan their manual and post it somewhere or email it to me.

Thanks!

Looks to be a POulan made 2000 or PP205. Either case most Poulans will start at 1 turn open on the Lo and HI speed needles. That's your starting point. Once the saw warms up squeeze the throttle quickly. If it hesiates , turn the Lo speed needle a bit to the left. Try again. Once it stops hesitating, you're good. Test the HI speed needle by trying a cut. If saw bogs, richen the needle by turning it to the left as well. Go a little at a time as it doen't take much to affect performance. Don't lean the HI speed needle(clockwise) much or you'll lean seize the saw. Should go no more than 7/8 from closed.
