Work Saw Specialist
I ported this saw for a member in NY........after a few hours of run time, it developed the dreaded 562 bog.
He was ready to pitch it under a skidder, but instead he traded it to me on a 346XP I had. I ran the saw for about an hour one day.....and sure enough......the bog was there, and most annoying.
I bought a new EL44 for the saw from TK and fitted it with the module from the EL46. I also shimmed the pickup on the throttle position sensor (TPS) out a little. That makes the TPS get a cleaner signal.
I've ran the saw for about half a tank since the new carb was installed.......and the bog is gone.
Total run time on this unit is less than 7 hours.
Now someone had been asking me about this saw.......but I get so many PMs......well, I can't recall who it was.
At any rate.......I wanna sell it.
Never a shelf queen......this saw has a few blemishes.
The silver never fairs well on these things.....
The muffler has been modded with one of Jon's custom deflectors.....and is still screened.
Yeah.....it's a flippy cap saw.
The squish has been cut .030", and the base cut .007". It is not running a base gasket.
No chain rash....but no super cleanup either. Just blown off with an air hose.
I got some smaller stickers just for these saws.
Price? $750.00 shipped.
