Maxx grinder help

Need help understanding something.On the Maxx you grind the right cutters to the right and then you turn the chain around and swing everything to the left(adjustments)My question is on hook angle settings.When I do hook angle adjustment on the right cutters I pull the adjustment toward me to the 10 degree mark.When doing the left cutters and reverseing all my settings.I push the hook adjustment to the 10 degree mark...away from me.I was told this is wrong.The hook angle should be pulled toward you and left there for both left and right cutters.If this is the case what is the other 10 degree setting for?This man is supposed to be a very good authority on Maxx. Help!

What "the man" told you is correct. I'm not sure why you would need the other setting but it's there if you ever did.
