Guys. I've asked this question befor, but I'll try again.

How longe does it take a Moderator to release posts by a new guy like me?

I tried to post three items (with pictures) that went off to moderator land, never to be seen again.

Are there a certain number of posts you need to make (without Pics) befor you can post pictures, or is there a time limit, or how does this work.

I am a fast learner.

Thanks, Woody.

I never heard of anything like that before...I've seen several that didn't know how to properly post pics though...

The Bow Saw you see below is not part of this post.

When I post with a picture I get a message (on screen) that says a moderator will check me post befor it is put up.

That's the last I have seen of them.

Thanks, Woody.

Woody,
That picture is in your signature. Edit your settings and you can make it go away....however you may get blocked again......after all this is the McCulloch thread.:smile2:

Post 2000 right there!

Yes the 250 Bow is in my signature. I can put pics up using this method, but I can't put pics in the post itself and have it go through.

If the post (with pics) wasn't going off to moderator land, at least the words would come through without the pictures.

Your technical issues will sort out, but that is a fine looking 250!

Today is a good day...Old timer came into my office and said he was an old logger he's 69 and said I have a McCulloch 797 with a 42" roller nose bar you know much about these saws:biggrin:. He said he was moving and it's been in the barn and don't need it or want it:hmm3grin2orange: I said I'll give ya $100.00 and his eyes opened and said sure like he was getting a deal. He said it ran fine some years ago so I'm picking it up after work and to the bench it goes. A good day indeed

Another 797 found and saved from the scrap.
Congrats on a nice find. There one of my all
time favorites.
Post some pic's.

Hatin' on the MACs tonight

So I finally put the new oil pump diaphragm in the PM650. Manual oiler burps air. Idled the saw for about a minute, no oil coming out the bar oiler hole.

Neither the PM650 or the 10-10A oil now...The Devil Beaver 2.0 will though...sad.:frown:

Heya BT -
I can say that (1) sometimes a pump needs to be primed and (2) there aren't many saws that will pump at idle. My PM1000 is the only one I have that will.

Just my $.02

Okay, that makes sense or it would oil all over the place i suppose. I will throw the bar and chain on tomorrow and see what i get. On the oiler adjuster is "out" more oil?
