Does anyone have an IPL for a Pro Mac 1010? I picked up one today for 20 bucks and it's in pretty good shape .. I just want to see how it goes together before I dive in.

Thanks.

same as a partner p100

you might do well using rottmansales.com for their online IPLs. look at P100 its the same exact saw with different decals. i got a partner p85 for $10 recently and had fun getting that going... shouldn't be too bad for parts.. depends on whether or not the ignition is points or electric...thyristor..ignitron etc and if you want to keep it original... should be an easy ignition now that i think of it seeing it was turned into a mac at the end.

i might be able to help out finding parts if needed. otherwise i could help you out of the saw if you get bored.. it would upgrade my 85 to a 100.

You're in luck.

Not a brand that I'd normally have but that one I got.

PM me your email.

Dan

ProMac 1010 And P100, aka Power Mac 1000, are completely different saws.

dang it

i'll have to admit that this is not the first time that i've gotten frigged up remembering all the power pro mac 1010 1000 and all of that.

i was going to say.. yeah.. sweet deal on a 100cc saw.. but then wait.. thats a 50something cc saw.. still a lot of fun.

i guess i shouldn't post anything "helpful" until after i've gotten off the pain dope for the dental work i'm waiting on.

i might get a 3-10e for 10 bucks.. we'll see.. still got the 1-51 to fix up.

all this from the guy that sometimes gets 6 and S mixed up. i'll get back to huffing the ether.. i mean spraying the quick start at some old jonsereds.

Yeah, and there's even a 'Mac 1010' I think, which is different from those ... or maybe it's just a Mac 10 ... Anybody know what's up with all the ten's for model numbers?
