Up for sale is a McCulloch Super 250 out of my collection. Nicest I have been able to find or see in person. This saw does not appear to have more than 10-15 hours on it, if that. I believe the bar and chain are original to the saw. This one came to me from the west coast, just as you see it here. I have owned this saw for a few years, and never planned on selling it.
I threw a carb kit in it (MAC9 Flatback) last night, and ran it some today. Beautiful saw and a good runner, but expect to go through the carb over or swap to an HL. This saw will idle all day long, but it is a constant battle with the carb (sluggish, rich, lean, rich)- and if I kept this saw I would replace it with an HL. Other than that, the toggle switch doesn't work- it may just need cleaned. I cannot stress what a beauty this saw is, very minimal wear.
I have $250 in this one, and I am just looking for the best offer via PM. I know that I wont come out ahead on this one, but it has been a pleasure to own and hope that it goes to a good home.
Selling PHO, unless you want to pay separate shipping on the bar- and in that case I will throw it in for free.
