howdy newbie here. my neighbor has a model #1225a and is looking for some points does anyone know where to get them. i think the part # is 18811a but dont know for sure....thanks [email protected]

its an old dude....its huge. probably about 4 foot blade

Any other numbers on the saw that you can find... 1225a doesn't compute for me... but I'm not a hardcore Mac guy either. There are some guys on here that are.

4 foot bar... it's prolly on old SP model like an 85 or a 125 or somethin'.

The 1225 was made in 1948/49 so good luck getting points.
It was the first 2 man saw produced by Mac.

yes, i believe its a two man saw....

Ditto that! Now I gotta look it up just to see .... I've never seen a Mac 2 man saw. I bet it weighs something fierce!

yea, the engine always stays one direction. the power head stays upright and the bar will rotate to cut horozintally....
