i really like that birch, it has a nice smooth finish to it as well, and tilting the log definitely helps take some of the work out of milling that's for sure.Ive only ever seen one or two birch with that colour tho and they were standing dead ones ,i always thought it was the beginning of the wood starting to spalt that caused that colour in dead trees .Nice anyway good job.
