My 2nd post and first "alaskan" milling video. I used a haddon lumber maker for a year until saved for a ms660. And of course the mk3. Enjoy

don't rock the mill

I could not see the common consequence of rotating the mill as you go thru the cut = washboarding along the sides of the cut and thus needing a lot more planing than if you hold the mill perpendicular to the cut; no rotation. Others will pile on with other reasons -- rotating does not speed up the cut.

The main thing is, you got yourself some nice slabs! Your technique will come with time. Two rails spaced apart will give the saw more stability on that first cut. Some people use an aluminum ladder for that. Nice video. Loved the music, by the way. :msp_thumbup:
