I am needing a on/off valve that I can put in the bottom of a gas can for a gravity feed connection. I am going to take a gas can and put a valve in the bottom of it, then run a 1/4" id fuel line down to my chainsaw gas tank. This is for my ProCut by the way not the Alaskan.

I am going to attach one of these to the chainsaw cap by drilling a hole and threading the one end in and run the supply hose to the barb end.

I need a valve that attaches to the supply gas can that I can thread on and seal up or do you think I would be better off using the same thing in the link above on the gas can and put the on/off valve in the middle.

I don't care that the threads will stick up higher than the the gas can on the inside because if it gets that low I will just fill it up again, I need something where I don't have to have a nut on the inside of the gas can to tighten it down since there is no way to access it.

Just seeing if any of you have done anything similar for something.
thanks

I am just going to buy a riding law mower gas tank, which has a attachment for hose already on them, I can just add the on/off valve after that. Buying the tank will get me what I need. thanks though
