Mills

I have never used a mill, or taken wood to be milled, so I have a question. Can you mill large branches, or will the tension wood (or compression wood) cause the milled wood to warp?

An acquaintance of mine who does a lot of milling with his woodmizer says it is not worth the time for someone who is milling for production. The reason is exactly what you stated. He does play around with those types of sticks on his own time and gets some really interesting grain patterns on the stuff that does turn out.
