I got an old mini mill and used it today. This one is both steel and aluminum. I like it. Works well and easy to use. It may be missing something where it clamps the bar, it's just flat steel and no texture or any way to grip. Was there a rubber pad here?View attachment 154620

I just told my wife I want to spend $3000 on chainsaws. She has yet to respond.

Your attachments are not working.

The Granberg mini-mill attaches to the bar with two bolts. It works well as long as you tighten the bolts right.

Most wives would respond very quickly to a remark like that.

This mini mill is older and has a different mounting system. I ended up posting again with pictures.

I can understand her viewpoint if you are a collector.

Are you really just wanting chainsaws? Are you just going to take the stuff and sit it in a drawer or on a shelf? Put it together like a model plane and put it in a display case? Sit around at a bar and run it with other chainsaw junkies?

Or are you wanting lumber to build things for your wife? Firewood to heat the house to keep your family warm? A tool to clear land?

When SWMBO wanted a new deck I included a new circular saw and a sawzall in the price. When she wanted a tree cut down on our little lot, and found out the price was over $1000 I got to get $1000 worth of chainsaw stuff. (hint - look for high bidders)
