Does anyone know what this part is? I waited a little long to clean my fire box after burning season and when I went to clean it this was in my firebox. I don't know where it came from. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe it slipped in on the inside of a piece of firewood where a tree grew around it. Lucky I didn't hit my saw on that Haha. That would have caused a few more beers to happen.

Looks like a baffle of some sort. I have a Pacific Western and all my inside parts ( smoke bypass) are much heavier than that and the baffles are welded in tubing.

It looks like the piece right inside the main door on the bottom. I think it protects from hits with firewood. You're holding it upside down. If I was at home I'd take a picture and show you.

Yes, mine is screwed in with 2 screws at the bottom of my door.
