oldsaw-addict, am I going to have to spend all my time policing you here? I hope not. You've read a lot, didn't you see where the MS260 doesn't have an H screw? It was rumored a while ago that Stihl was going back to them, but I haven't heard of any being spotted in the pipeline yet.
Brian, my documentation shows that carburetor has a fixed high speed jet and that the low speed circuit gets its fuel feed after that jet. In carburetors where the low speed circuit is independent, opening the low speed jet will add fuel throughout the rev range. In these newer carburetors, the low speed jet will not admit any more or less fuel at full throttle, regardless their setting.
You can enrich the mixture by drilling out the jet or replacing it with an oversized part. Perhaps you'll be able to do all you need by raising the inlet lever slightly. The surest bet would be to acquire a WT-426 carburetor, either new or used (and swap the compensating diaphragm covers with your old one) so you can fully re-live the past.
