whell i just aquired another monster homelite. it will go good with it's brother the 990g. it is a 9-26. just as powerful as the 990. i think it might be a little lighter but i will not know untill it gets to my house. i can't wait to fire it up and see what it can do.

Hi Andrew, I worked on an almost new 990G today and was surprised how easy it was to tear down to clean it up. This geardrive sports a 1/2" chipper chain on a 36" bar.
It will go on the Ebay chopping block tomorrow.

hey john what do you have the reserve set at for that 990? that thing look pretty sweet. i know why it was lightly used cause it is so darn heavy. where did you find that old girl? or was it hidden in your pile of saws?

Hi Andrew, Bill the logger that was making the drags with the Mountain Pig, invited me over to his place and he has neat stuff all over the place. His cabin is like a museum and he had the 990G in his attic, so I traded a few choker cables I had for it.
I was going to send it to Jonathan in exchange for the super easy, but I caught myself in time as it is sorta like trading an 026 for an 090.
Please bid high and bid often, as I need funds to get out of this Burg.

i just picked up two homelites for my museum yesterday. one superwiz with a brush bow set-up. it is near complete. i need the cover that goes over the plug and jug. the other is a model 26 with a 22 inch bar and chain,complete. that makes 13 antique homelites.
the guy was asking $20.00 a piece. i told him i will give $20.00 for the pair and began to leave. when i did not get a response i turned to see if he was thinking about my offer and he was carrying them to the truck for me.

i will let you get that 990g i will not out bid you. i got one right now and i hear that you want one. i tell you what if you do cut with it make sure you have soem ear plugs handy cause they are LOUD. it is about as loud as 2 harleys wiht straight pipes sitting side by side.
