i am new to the forums but have been reading for some time and have learned alot of useful stuff on here. I need all the help i can get as i am running a couple of poulans right now. the other day i got an old montgomery ward saw and was wondering if anyone had any info or knows anything about these. its a big old monster. 3.8ci and a 24inch bar. its orange if that helps. i dont even know how old it is or anything about it. nothing turned up on google.

3.8 is hardly a momster saw.

and likely the 24 inch bar was a bit much for it back in the Monkey ward days.
Is it in restorable condition?

the guy i got it from said it would run. i replaced the fuel line and cleaned it up but i havent tried cranking it yet.
