Hi Eric, isn't that one fast saw? Check out this one though, I put a 20" bar on my 346 and blasted thru this 17" Cherry in just under 15 sec. with my chain, I mean barbwire.
John

well u got my attention ,,now get my respect..:D just kiddin john .. thats some gosh awful fast cuttin.. i could tell when u saw out ran,, u oiler.. least thats what it looked like to me..

Hi Tony, yup, that 346 is so fast I almost fudged my rompers again. The fuel here in Canada has a bit of nitro in it, hence the fast times.
John

is that your 346KD saw
i know it is not mine and i donot remember being there
if that is your 346KD saw it is running good now we will get that pipe working so you can go get them

so when are you going to post the shot of your 2100KD
it seems fast and just on gas

Hi Ed, I had a disc error on my floppy, so all i got is the 372 that you built me, but isn't it on the slow side? The 2100KD made it look like it was falling asleep!
Take care, all you good buddies of mine.
Big Tall Paul

so what you are saying is that the shot of the 2100KD didnot turn out
to bad it seems fast
next time we will film it again and hope the camera is fast enough to catch it

Hi Ed, every time I head up to see you in Haliburton, all I think about is saw, but when I get there, all I think about is the beautiful scenery you have there.
John

well John when you come up next time we will have to video some saws
now what do guys want to see
my slow stuff or my real slow stuff and i guess we should do the 346 on here to let the boys know that they are fast enough now and donot have to do any more work on there saws
bring your 2100KD and we will film it, does it have a pipe to because i think i have one here that might work
also bring your event winning 084KD and we will see how it works
bring everything and we will have a great time pissing the old folks off that live next door ed

Hi Ray, thanks for the nice feedback about my pictures. No problem, the more exposure the better. In fact, the picture was taken just North of Jasper Alta. It is a backwater of the Athabasca R.
Here is another from the archives.

first i donot know hows saw that is but i do know that it is not mine forsure
i have had some pm on this
that saw is on gas when you see the video you will see the difference plus i honestly donot know where he did that video because it is not where we norally run saws now he was up here last year , maybe it was then at the house but i know that was not me running it forsure plus i donot remember a saw with a carlton bar on it
how knows , maybe gypo will but i donot
so if you guys are thinking that is the 346ehp and that is as fast as it is just cut the time in the wood by more than in half
i made sure gypo didnot get any video of the saw

Ed,
Why no videos of the 346ehp?
I for one would love to see that little alcohol addicted sissy saw run........... along with any thing else running on funny fuel or other wise.

im beginning to think, its the air below 0 thats making johns saw cut up...
i know if it was me ,,id have take a tree dn .. thaw out ,,then another..:)
i done spent one winter laying in icewater under houses when i was young..[plumbing] .. i give that credit for my arthritus,,being so bad.. i know the docs say thats not what causes it.. but i just dont believe ever thing they say.

John where did you do those video's of the saw with the carlton bar on it cutting 8 by 8
who is running the saw you

Hi Ed, ya that's me. they are some older videos from the "Great Chain Race". The saws were 2171, and 385 with just muffler work. I did the videos at my place.
