More big Poulan

This is a model i didn't have. Found this from one of my chainsaw connections.
Poulan Pro 655. I have a couple of the 655 BP's but not this one. Although when
it arrived yesterday i just had to check the P+C and they are just as new as can
be. And this saw also has a Boost Ported cylinder. She runs just like new. I did
a compression test to see where it was compaired to Brads. With my Snap on
gauge it pulled 155 till it wouldn't go anymore. About 7 or 8 pulls.

Even though it says poulan, its 100% canadian made, pioneer designed and built. The only relation it has to poulan is that both pioneer and poulan were owned by electrolux/husky at the time. Poulan had no part in either the design or building of this saw.
Personally, I would have called it a pioneer. But thats just me.

I deserve the suckage, many times over.
I couldn't even imagine the amount of
cc's in my collection. Not sure if they make
calculators that go that high.

I agree, The whole saw is Pioneer design and a great design indeed.

Kinda miss my Poulan 475 now.:msp_sad:.One helluva saw,w/190+ compression.Only reason selling it was being off work a few weeks & needing quick cash.Hope to get another one someday.They're pretty scarce now I believe.

That's not really all correct. At the time that saw was made there was no such thing as a company named Pioneer. They were out of business in 1984 while the Poulan Pro line was not introduced till 1988.

Those Pioneer based Poulan Pro saws were produced in Huron Park at the EMAB factory, so really they were built by Electrolux. I have not been able to verify it 100% but it is said that the tooling for those saws was shipped to Shreveport LA to the Poulan factory and some of the last saws were built there.

I commend you for being a proud Canadian and proud of these fine saws but facts are facts.
