I was going to post this to the fuel/oil mix thread, but that one seemed like it was well done.
Not that I know crap about 2 strokes, but I had a thought with both remaining cells.
Regarding the leaning of the fuel/air ratio as the oil ratio is increased, caused by displacement of the gas volume with oil. I had one more possible contributor to this leaning effect.
Since the viscosity and surface tension of oil are far greater than that of gasoline, and since the gas/air ratio achieved by the carb is resultant from the effects of Bernoulli's principle, I think it is possible that a smaller quantity of heavy oil ladened fuel will be drawn in for a given carb air speed.
What do you 2 strokers think of that idea??
