Hi guys, I'm looking at putting a 3/4 wrap handle on my 361. It looks like the full kit is super expensive (half what I paid for the saw).. has anyone used the Chinese eBay ones before? I assume I'll just need the screws and then to make a short wrench?

Thanks heaps,

Adam (Australia)

I’ve used the ones from dukes. Idk where they are made. Definitely not as strong as oem but they don’t feel like you’re going to break them easily. With that set I did not need a different scrench.

Now I'm curious, outside of having a tree help how does one break a wrap handle/put enough stress on a wrap to make it break?

Drop it while climbing, run it over with truck, skidder or dozer. I’m sure there more ways. Never broke one my self but get a few that come through my shop with interesting story

Many many moons ago, my dad was doing some felling work and skidding/pushing logs with his old D4. Someone (not me) decided his 026 wasn't safe where it was so they moved it for him without him knowing and, long story short, the mighty D4 left a pile of white magnesium chunks and a bit of orange plastic in its tracks. That led to some cursing and the purchase of a 445 that dutifully serves him to this day but yeah, sh!t happens.
