MS361 Guide Bar

The default spec for the MS361 lists a 20" Ematic™ guide bar. The saw I just bought came with a 20" ES. Did the spec change, or was this a gift from my dealer (the price didn't seem higher than the going prices, though)? Or did they just goof? Then again, I don't really know what the price difference is between a standard Ematic™ and an E-Super.

Its a really nice bar, though. I assume it weights more than the standard Rollomatic® E. I also can't seem to find it in the catalog or on the Stihl site (3003-000-8822), so I'm guessing its a new item.

Nope. Guessed wrong. From what I've found, its an old item that they must have stopped making.

Well good for you. The ES is a better bar.

I guess I'd better treat the bar well, since it doesn't look like I can replace it. The shortest .050" gauge RS bar in the current catalog is 25". Or I could up to .063" gauge, where the shortest RS is 22".
