Hello,

Been browsing for the past couple months, good site and information. Getting ready to pull the trigger on buying a new 2171 which I have learned from this site is pretty much the same as the 372xp which is what I originally wanted. The local dealer is having the "drag it or bag it" promotion essentially $150 off when you trade in anything on a new saw. I have seen some much better pricing from other people's discussions than what they are advertising, just curious what MSRP on this saw is, and what I should expect to pay, the final price with 20" bar seems to be $629. I have heard prices as low as $470 for a brand new 2171. Thanks in advance for you help!

I just got a price from my dealer here for 2171 with heated handles- $1069 plus 15% tax.

My sale price is $599.95 right now for a 2171 with a 20" bar , (or I will do a bag and drag for $629!). There will be a small price increase on the next saws I get in, as my cost has gone up.
The ad people who come up with some of the promotions, like the bag and drag, don't live in the real world.
