A Husky 55. $144 plus shipping. A 1998 'Air Injection' model (says the label- I know, they all have it...!) and, judging by the looks of the piston, jug and other parts this saw couldn't ever have been used for more than a few hours. A little dusty but unless Felix Unger owned it this thing is damn near new. Dry metal where oil should (WILL!) be, and the screw heads look to have never been touched. Haven't tested comp yet but it's HARD to pull w/o the release pushed in.

Much searching of the old threads answered many of my 'DUH!' questions but I may still have a few noob questions before long.
Going to check the fuel line now. Thanks everyone!

What they said

I have a 55 , maybe just a little older. They are semi-pro saws; there have
been so many made, parts should be readily available for a while even aftermarket.

Nice saws unless you had the misfortune of getting the 51cc epa version. If that turns out to be the case, I would be willing to trade you a mint 53cc 55 rancher to help ya out.

Just remember, this is were it all started.
