I wanted to thank Stihlman036/Chris for his help on how to modify the muffler on my saw. I did as Chris stated and then ran the saw. I made my needed carb adjustments and was very pleased. The saw runs great, revs quick and cuts faster.

Also, its nice to see this site coming around again.

There seems to be more power while cutting, I can apply a bit more pressure and the saw does not seem to bog as much as it did before. The saw is my firewood saw; an 029, which is below the pro standards that I read here...but it fills all my needs just fine. I also have a 020 and I restored a Remington SL-5 that was my grandfathers saw. Ths SL-5 is wild by my standards! It is a monster and is louder than my Mercury 25hp outboard.
Some day soon I would like a new saw and was thinking of the Husky 365...what do people think of this saw?

Russ,
Sorry I forgot to anwser your question...yes Stihlman036/Chris did a great job contacting me a walking me through it step by step. Although it took me some time to get to it.

"Husky 365"

I run a Husky 365, have for the last year or so, and I am very happy with the saw. No problems whatsoever, and it always starts right up and cuts great!
