Hi fellas. Can someone post a picture or two of some mulberry they have milled. I've never milled it before. I just got hooked up with an arborist in my area that has one to mill on. Thanks! N8
You've got that right! Working clean-up after the 2011 Joplin tornado there were volunteers who showed up with Poulon "Wild Things", and no protective gear. I learned to stay away from them. Whenever someone like that got his saw pinched, I pretended not to notice, figured that he & I were both safe until he could get it out. One guy did cut himself up pretty bad and had to be taken to the hospital. The more "Tree sugeons" I talk to about this stuff the more I realize that they sell chainsaws to anyone!
Does it throw as many sparks as hedge?I can't speak to anything about milling, but I "Love" it as firewood. I throws sparks with all the gusto of our local Hedge aka Osage Orange!! But it doesn't have all that prickly/thorny brush to deal with. It split pretty good too
Don't forget to jerk the handle really hard until some av springs bust loose
Hmm...guess a good well placed wedge is outta the question! lolor put a pry bar (or limb) through the handle and lever it out.
It throws just as many spark/embers with the same authority as Hedge & my local Hedge source may be a tad milder than my Mulberry???? Weird!!Does it throw as many sparks as hedge?
I thought hedge or cedar were the spark/ember Masters...
