Someone expressed interest in me posting a video of me "getting back into it". I did this Silver Maple last week and didn't remember my digital camera takes movies untill I was making the final cut so the video is short.

Customer wanted it just safely on the ground. All the weight was towards neighbors house (video right) so I had dropped all the rest of leaders in two piles. Left one to pull the spar over. The blue tub in back is covering a new well casing I didn't want to scratch up.

Is embedding video not working today or have I had too many blows to the head?

I tried copying embed code directly to the post and that didn't seem to work.

You tube just changed their video page, I wonder if that has anything to do with it?

Nice Ghillie good to see you back at it.

I saw it and it looked like you put it right on the money. Good job.

Thanks guys, I didn't think it was too technical. Hopefully I'll get some more footage this week.

The guy that was helping me, I let him run the 390. He's used to a 142(?) Husqy. He made the comment "it's like I'm holding a dirtbike in my hands!"

I don't think embedding works in every forum. I think you have to use links in the commercial tree care forums.

Looking good Ghillie. Glad to see you back. Were you sick or injured? Anyway, glad to see you back around buddy.

On the husky 142. I bought a couple of them not long after I started out on my own. My thinking at that time was I could buy three of them for the price of a stihl 020. I figured they would be a throw away saw that I wouldn't shed any tears over if I dropped it out of the tree. Worst saw I have ever climbed with. The spark plug covers wouldn't stay on them and would fall off soon after you entered the tree. Cheapest made saw I think I ever used. Didn't take me long to buy a stihl. Not knocking the pro huskies. I have ran some good ones but the 142 is crap.

Thanks.

First diagnosis was a stroke. Bilateral weakness and loss of motor function. For a while I couldn't tie my own shoes. Really humbling. Final diagnosis was some nerves got screwed up in my head. I had some other things going on that led up to that. But I'm feeling a ton better now and hope I have learned a lesson.

I didn't know that buddy. Glad to hear your doing better. I hope and pray that you are fully recovered.
