Here are some of my mystery pistons. Does anyone know what they are?

The wrist Pin dia.'s arecompared to Husqvarna Model 66 wrist pin (for reference only)...

Pistons from left to right...1-3

#1.
Dia. - 54mm/2.118 in
Top of piston – Flat
wrist pin - smaller than model 66 wrist pin

#2
Dia. - 52mm/2.04+in.
wrist pin - same size as model 66 wrist pin
Top of piston – Flat
Possible Jonsered 820/830?

#3
Dia. - 50mm/1.97in
wrist pin - same size as model 66 wrist pin
Top of piston – domed (convex)
Possible Jonsered Model 70E or 75?

I'll tell you the first two for sure and the last one 80%. If you'll sell the middle one to me.

Fred

OKAY. The first one is a 288 Husky the second is a 375 Husky chopsaw and the third I believe to also be a chopsaw, but not 100% so I won't say which.

The first one, is the same dia. as a 288, however the wrist pin on a 288 is larger than a 66 pin. The wrist pin on this piston is smaller in dia.than the 66. So it can not be a 288.

I can not dispute the other two. You are the first guy that has had an idea about them.

thank you!!...how did you do that?

Go up to your origonal post and click the pic link at the bottom. While pointing your curser over the pic, right click and go to propertys.

Copy the address from the propertys page and make a new post. In the post box tool bar you will see a little globe looking thingie (its blue. hover your mause over it and it says inseret link) click it and paste the address you copied into the box.

Click OK and it will jump down into your post ready to go .

Okay shot number 2. Check the pin location against a 10mm 044 piston. If it is the same you may have a single ring BB 044 conversion piston.

BTW I still want it.

Fred

Editted to add...BB046 kit on older 044 lower end. This conversion would take alot of work.
