I posted about the Olathe chipper I bought a few weeks ago but just mentioned in passing a truck purchase last week. Here is my "new" rig.

That's a fine looking setup. Man cabs are the shiznit for gear storage. How's that Olathe working?

The Olathe is crunchin' and munchin' - It works pretty well but doesn't handle fine stuff as well as I'd like-not too bad if you have some big stuff to drag it on through.

Looks really sharp Justin, need to get some advertising on the side of so every one will know who you are.

I hope you have better luck with equipment than I do. My chip truck dropped a valve into the No. 1 piston two weeks ago, good time of the year to have this happen LOL. We also had to pull the trans because it was growling and acting up just before the engine went south.

Good luck with your new toys.

It doesn't have an adjustable anvil. That , combined with about 18 " of space between the feed wheels and the cutters mean that the little stuff just kind of idles in there. A long ,bushy branch or 2 will drag it into the cutters but if I forget to save a few for after raking up it is a pain.

Ax-man, The signage is in the works. Sorry about your truck troubles-I hope I get a long run with only routine maintenance.

Stumper, some times you can get away with putting brush in TOP first.

When you can, it'll chip the smaller stuff better.

Nice rig!

Cool deal Justin, What did ya do with your old chipper? I may be interested in buying. That is after the wedding next weekend. Teri wont let me buy nothing untill after we get hitched. ACK

I've debated selling it or keeping it as a back up.-Still haven't decided. Congrats on your wedding. We still need to get together and harass some fish. -After your honeymoon I guess!
