the pile is 8ft wide for most of the span. first time trying a pile this wide. all the wood except for the pal way on the left that has the tarp on it and been down a couple years. so i figured i could get away with it since its really not wet at all.

the oiler used to bother me too on mine but its a consistant 1/2 tank of oil to a tank of gas. still cuttin i cut all that wood in the pics and prolly another 5 cord ontop of that....still runnin fine no trouble.

best part of cuttin wood is you cant hear people trying to bother you. its my alone time. plus the pile gives me sense of accomplishment knowing i provided the heat for my family for the winter and simply just didnt call the oil guy.

Nice piles.. I have a bunch of llittle stuff too. I like my time at the pile aswell. I'm some sort of wierd kinda way I find it relaxing.. You must have to duck your head driving your tractor in there do you!?

Lookin' Good! I cut a lot of the small limbs too. I just bought a Makita DCS401 for cutting the little stuff so I don't wear myself out. Like you said it burns too.

Nice looking piles of wood. Is that all for this year or the next couple?

While I don't own a 455, I do own a 310. By alot of the opinions on this site, you wouldn't think they could cut anything.
