Hi! Yesterday I finally received my Pioneer Holiday ll 970! It's sooo cool! I thought I would share some pics with you all! I'm going to restore it and rebuild what needs it. I think it doesn't have spark, but I have not gone thru it yet, just took some pics! Yey! I'm excited to work on it, but I'm going to put this one on hold and work on an easier "tear apart saw"; 1979 Homelite XL-12 named Walton. I will list pics of him in a few days! Thanks for looking! -Michelle

Cool koodos to you. There are not many females tearing chainsaws apart and fixing them.

Thank you so much! I don't know why I like saws. All I can say is that I do and I want to make them look good and run! Also, I love the 2 stroke engine, for some reason I get it, not bragging, I don't know why, but I totally get it; second nature or something? Thanks again! -Michelle

I have fixed it, I meant to say "without". Almost all I have seen are broken.

Okay, yea there's not even a hint of a crack on mine. The plastic appears sunbleached in sections. It makes sense that a lot of the covers would be broken, why use hard plastic and not magnesium? To me it would make more sense, but I do love the faux wood look though, can't get anymore 70's than that! Haha! -Michelle
