Neat story...Yet another saw!

I was heading north yesterday to help cut firewood at my hunting camp. About a half hour into the trip I realized I forgot my lunch and my oil bottles.
No problem, there is a Jonsered dealer on the way, and he is a heck of a nice guy, so I swing in for some oil. We are BS-ing a little and I tell him my Stihl dealer has back ordered my new air filter for the 028 for the second week in a row. He says 028, well I have an unclaimed 028 in the back, you can have the air filter if you want it. I said sure I'll take it. Then he says why don't you take the whole damn saw for $50.00., It needs a coil and a good clean-up!
I hurried to the truck before he changed his mind! Sure am glad I forgot my oil bottles!:greenchainsaw:

Actually I found an 038 under similar circumstances.I needed the front portion of a muffler as a replacement for an 038 Mag II I was working on and bought the entire saw for 50 bucks.From A stihl dealer,no less.

As it turned out though,I still had to have another muffler cover because the saw was a keeper.12 bucks,E-bay,goody.
