I'm new to this. I've been reading the forum and have gleaned a few tips from you guys. Thanks for that.

I have a 660 and a 36" Granberg mill with a 36" bar. I would like to get a 42" bar to get the max capacity out of the mill. I'm having trouble finding a bar, mostly because I don't know where to look and the only reputable manufacturer that I know of is Oregon. What are some other manufacturers that I should look at? The Oregon part search doesn't show a bar that length for that saw.

There is an Oregon Power Match 42" that lists the 660. Bailey's - Oregon 42" Power Match Chainsaw Bar for Stihl 135 Drive Links. I have the husqvarna large mount version of that bar and it seems to work fine (although I haven't used it much).

Cannon is a bar mfg that makes a lot of custom bars as well as std bars for a lot of saws.

Thanks for the help.

That link to the Oregon bar is for .375 pitch instead of the .404 I use. I guess my saw is originally equipped with .375 and that is why it didn't show up in oregon's part finder.

I think I'll go with this one: Bailey's - WoodlandPRO 41" Chainsaw Bar for Stihl 084-880 123 Drive Links

Why are bars for Stihl labeled 41" when they have the same number of drivers as a 42" for other saws? I think that added to my confusion as well.

NO!!! You need a 660 mount for a 660!
