need help fixing stihl 042 av chain break

i got this old saw today seller did not know if it would run . in no time i had it running and it runs great. the problem is no chain break. i took it apart and i dont get it . only thing i can think is there s a part missing or somthing. can anyone help on this like a diagram ??
