Need help with Husqvarna 372xp tank vent

I’m rebuilding a 372xp torq and am having trouble figuring out what’s wrong with the tank vent.

The green tank vent connector doesn’t fit tightly into the tank vent. I’m not sure if it’s missing something or if the connector is wore or the tank vent. Any help would be appreciated.

Where the elbow fits is probably worn so it won’t stay put. The green elbow snaps into the tank vent inside there. The vent can be pulled out by threading a screw into it. I would replace both pieces
