hello everyone. recently i purchased a stihl 036 pro from a friend to the sum of $100. it starts with no issues and looked to be good to go. however i noticed after starting it that it didnt seem to be oiling like ive seen other saws do in the past. i noticed after letting it idle that oil was coming out from the bottom of the saw and only a small amount of oil was getting to the chain. that being said, what would be the most likely cause of said issue? and what is the best course of action i should take in solving the problem. i have worked on saws in the past but not to the extent of this. any advice is greatly appreciated.

There is a line that runs from the oil pump to the bar. It could be clogged or cracked. Also clean the small hole on the bar that lines up with the oiler tube on the saw. Finally clean the groove on the bar...both sides.

I'd say your issue is with the oil line.
