in youre 3rd pic the fittings on the left (hose/ swivel elbow) look alot like JIS fittings (not JIC) the rest look to be british thread (BSPT) neither are compatable with JIC or NPT, you will need adapters, or replace with same fittings.
all of that said, its difficult to tell what they are without seeing them in person...

On the fittings, 12=3/4 10=5/8 8=1/2. you could use 1/2" hose for your cylinder with 8 jic fittings. if your work ports are 3/4, JIC 8M x 3/4 NPTM 90 ELBOW.
surplus center should have all this, Hope this helps.

steelshot, I just got home from TSC to pick up a couple of new hoses for my old splitter. My newer Speeco is at a neighbours so I've been using the old one. I split maybe 4 full cords with it and on the last piece the valve didn't flip off when the cylinder retracted all the way back, bang there goes a hose. Every time I have to replace a hose I cringe, it's always the same, too much money and sizing frustration. It's a 40 minute round trip to the closest TSC for me, so I buy 1 or 2 extra fittings each time and slowly build up a supply at home. Todays trip was good, I got 2 hoses and both fit, the extra fitting I bought wasn't the right one but one from a previous trip worked. I have a 5 gallon pail of new and used fittings so I can usually get things jury rigged and get it running. I usually fond that most stuff is pipe thread.

confused fitting id ?

View attachment 311474View attachment 311476View attachment 311478View attachment 311480 let me try to be more lucid, and to the point. issue one; i need instruction on how to identify the return to tank hose as a jic, with 3/4"hose and female connections both ends.are they 8 10 12 etc.?for ordering purposes.i posted pics of the male connectors still mounted to filter housing and tank on return side.issue two, can i install 1/2"two wire hose- with 1/2"npt fittings each end?from valve to cyl, with a 90 elbow-3/4" male to valve side.and 1/2"npt swivel to cyl side?originally it had a 3/4"npt connected to the 3/4"valve thread .question is does pressure get lost necking down from 3/4 -1/2?:confused2:

thanks windwllker for the 8 10 12 jic.this is for return to tank only.guess by what you post i have 3/4 =12 since a 3/4 npt will thread on it.

The return hose to the tank does not have to be high pressure hose the hose can be used with barded fittings and hose clamps. Return line pressure to the tank should rarely exceed 15 psi.
Necking down does not affect pressure but it does restrict flow which can cause heat build up.

#1 are there any manu markings on the hose at all? I have hose out in the field that is 15 years old and still has some kind of markings on it ( I work for a car hauler). #2 Take some more pictures with something of known size quarter dime nickle etc next to it from that the picture can be scaled and we can figure out size. #3 If you can wait I may be able to help you with fittings hose etc. maybe I just ordered all the stuff to make 3/4,5/8 hose I have everything for 1/2 already so If your patient, I might be able to hook you up for FREE... maybe?? If you plan on be around AS for awhile. Let me see what I can do with the pics you give me take the help for what its worth :cool2:

Eaton Aeroquip has a nice little booklet 'How to Identify Fluid Ports and Connectors', but it is no longer on the web. Document E-SROV-TS009-E was 2003 revision that i have right here.
Covers most of the worlds common connections and dimensions and threads per inch etc.

thanks to all i found out what i have, mix of npt hoses with 1/2 npt male and 3/4" npt other side, all npt 90 degree elbows and one hose double jic female at 3/4"hose and fitting size #12.getting all inc tee for a gage mount from surplus center under 50 bucks not incl ship.cost north of 100 local but sure they have name brand hoses etc.:dizzy:
