As I write this, the contractor is grinding the stump and roots of my nearly 50 year old Camphor tree. Incipient foundation damage forced me to have the tree felled. The contractor has cut the straighter sections of the main branches into logs that I woud like to have milled into lumber for drying and future use in my woodworking hobby. He, unfortunately cut the longest straight log in half. the main trunk is short, less than six feet long, but is around 100 inches in circumference. I am looking for someone with a portable mill to come to my location, in Southern California, and mill these 'shorts' for me. My zip code is 92626.
