I need to get a rebuild kit for this carb but don't know the PN#. It is on a McCulloch 4900. I hope that I just need a rebuild to get more fuel so the saw will 4 stroke. I don't really want to go looking for an air leak, plus parts are really hard to find.
The saw has taken quite a beating on my behalf while "learning" about chainsaws and how to run them. Now that I have some knowledge I have a 357xp that gets taken care of really well, thanks in large part to you folks here on the board.
The 4900 is now my backup saw and I am just trying to tune her up and make her healthy again. Thank you all for helping me progress along the learning curve. Due to all the input I have received and or read, I have full PPE, got in touch with my neighbor who logged for over 20 years in one capacity or another for instruction and purchased a real saw. I'm not sure if my wife is too fond of you guys .
