I am in desperate need to have work done on my RG50 Rayco stump grinder. I am in the Orlando Fla area and the Rayco dealers in Jacksonville and Ft Lauderdale have closed. The closest shop is in Tampa but I would like find a good local shop and person I can rely on. Has anyone got any thoughts on who I can contact?.........

What's wrong with it?

Any really good heavy equipment mechanic should be able to fix anything that might be wrong with it. As long as you have a parts book and wiring diagrams, a good equipment repair shop can probably fix it.
If it is a hydraulic problem, take it to a good hydraulic repair shop. Most all brands of stump grinders use pretty generic stuff for their major components.

service tech for stump grinder

The problem is the hydraulic pump on the steering, its spraying fluid when engaged. The pump is in a difficult location, underside of the diesel motor and behind the fan. Its going to take some doing to get to it and I wanted to be sure to have someone good look at it that has experience. It seems alot of mower repair shops won't work on diesel or stump grinders. As luck has it the breakdown occured on a Sat and no one works on Sat it seems, other than me. Thanks for the recommendations and I will try all, any suggestions or referrences are welcome............
