Negotiating Off MSRP

What is the starting point on larger equipment purchases off of MSRP on a percentage basis? I am looking at purchasing a new Cat compact track loader and have no experience in the process. If anyone out there has any input would be appreciated.

10%. It's a $60,000 machine. If you need it, it will pay for itself. Anything lower than 15% lower will cause the Cat dealer to laugh in your face.
